Forgotten item delivery in Kottayam

Keys on the kitchen table, a charger at the office, a lunchbox left behind, a wallet in yesterday's bag. This is the errand Deelo Parcel was built for — one small thing that has to cross town right now, without either person losing an afternoon.

The short answer

Deelo Parcel delivers forgotten items such as keys, chargers, wallets and lunchboxes across the city the same day, in the pickup window you choose.

When people use this

  • House keys to a family member locked out
  • Phone charger or laptop adapter to the office
  • A lunchbox to a school or workplace
  • Spectacles or medicine left at home
  • A file left on the desk before a meeting

How to pack it

  • Put small items in a zip pouch or envelope so nothing works loose in a carrier.
  • For keys, tape them to a card with the recipient's name — loose keys are easy to miss at the bottom of a bag.
  • Add a note in the instructions if the recipient is at a gate, ward or reception rather than a door.

What we cannot carry

  • Cash and jewellery are not accepted.
  • House keys are accepted, but never write the address on the key tag.

Size and price

Forgotten Item Delivery normally books as a Small parcel — anything that fits in a backpack and weighs under 5 kg. It travels by bike, and a typical 6 km city run costs about ₹124 all-in including GST — the same fare as any other size. The exact fare is shown before you confirm.

How it works

OTP at both ends

A one-time code is verified at pickup and again at handover, so a parcel can never be collected or released to the wrong person.

Live tracking on a map

You watch the runner move in real time, with an ETA that counts down and a notification when they are close.

Verified runners

Every runner is ID-checked and address-verified before their first job, and carries a rating you can see before handover.

Instant, upfront pricing

The full fare is shown before you confirm. There is no surge, no per-kilometre surprise and no charge until a runner accepts.

Forgotten Item Delivery — questions

How quickly can someone get my keys across town?

You choose a morning, afternoon or evening pickup window, and a live ETA counts down on the map once a runner accepts. Timing depends on the two addresses and how busy the fleet is that day.

Can I send house keys safely?

Yes. Tape them to a card with only the recipient's name — never the address — and the OTP handover ensures nobody else can take them.

How does same-day courier work?

You enter a pickup address and a destination in the Deelo Parcel app, choose a parcel size and a pickup window, and see the full fare before confirming. A runner accepts, collects from your door and takes the parcel directly to the recipient the same day. An OTP is verified at both ends.

How much does parcel delivery cost?

Deelo Parcel starts at ₹36 all-in for a short city run. The fare is ₹30 base (covers the first 1 km) + ₹15/km (Launch offer; regular ₹18/km) + 18% GST — it depends on distance only, not on parcel size, and there is no platform fee. The full price is shown before you confirm, and there is no surge pricing.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the two addresses, the pickup window you choose and how many runners are working that day. You book a morning, afternoon or evening window, and once a runner accepts, a live ETA counts down on the map and updates as they move. Deelo Parcel does not offer a guaranteed delivery time.
