Who carries your parcel

Handing something valuable to a stranger only works if you know who the stranger is. Every Deelo Parcel runner clears five checks before their first job, and you see their name, photo, vehicle number and rating before they reach your door.

What every runner clears

1

Identity check

Government photo ID and a matching selfie, verified against the name on the account. Nobody rides without this.

2

Address verification

A residential address in the district they will serve, confirmed before activation. Runners work where they live, which is also why they know the lanes.

3

Vehicle registration

The registration number is recorded in the app and shown to you before pickup. If the plate at your door does not match, do not hand over the parcel.

4

Onboarding on handling

How to carry a cake level, how to treat a declared fragile parcel, what to do when a recipient is unreachable, and what we refuse to carry.

5

Continuous rating

Every delivery is rated. Ratings are visible to you before handover, and runners who fall below our threshold stop receiving jobs.

What you see before handover

  • The runner's name and photo, as soon as they accept the job.
  • Their vehicle type and registration number — check the plate before you hand anything over.
  • Their current rating out of five, from previous deliveries.
  • A one-tap call button, so you never share your number directly.
  • Their live position on the map, with an ETA that counts down.

If something goes wrong

Report it from the order in the app or call support between 7 AM and 11 PM. Every delivery carries a timestamped record — pickup OTP, handover OTP, proof photo and the full GPS track — so a dispute is resolved against the record rather than against memory. Runners with substantiated complaints are removed from the platform.

Verification questions

Are Deelo Parcel runners verified?

Every Deelo Parcel runner is ID-checked and address-verified before their first job, and rides with a registered vehicle recorded in the app. You see their name, photo, vehicle number and rating before they reach you, and can call them in one tap.

Do you verify with OTP?

Yes. Deelo Parcel verifies a one-time code twice: once when the runner collects the parcel from you, and again when the recipient takes it. This is why a parcel cannot be collected from the wrong person or released to the wrong one.

Can someone else receive the parcel?

Only the person you name as the receiver can take delivery, because the handover OTP is sent to their phone. If you need to change who collects it, edit the receiver in the Deelo Parcel app before the runner reaches the drop-off address.

Do you provide proof of delivery?

Yes. Deelo Parcel captures a photo at handover, records the OTP verification and timestamps both in your order history. For offices and legal work this is usually sufficient as a delivery audit trail.
