Privacy policy

Your name and phone number, the pickup and delivery addresses you enter, the recipient's name and phone number, your device's location while the app is open, and your booking and payment history. We collect the recipient's number because that is where the handover OTP and tracking link are sent.

To dispatch a runner to the right place, to let you and the recipient track the delivery, to verify the handover with a one-time code, to bill correctly, and to resolve disputes against a record. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data.

The runner sees the pickup and drop-off addresses, the first name of each party, and a masked call button. They do not see your phone number, your payment details, or your other bookings. Calls are routed through the platform.

The runner's location is recorded for the duration of an active delivery so you can track it, and retained for 90 days as a delivery record. Your own location is used only to place a pin when you choose to, and is not tracked in the background.

Booking records, including OTP verification timestamps and proof photos, are retained for 24 months for dispute resolution and tax compliance. GPS traces are retained for 90 days. Account data is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.

Payment processors, to take payment. Map and geocoding providers, to resolve addresses. SMS providers, to deliver OTPs. Law enforcement, only where legally compelled. Nobody else.

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and its data deleted. Write to hello@deelo.in from the address or phone number on the account and we will action it within 30 days.

Deelo Parcel is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
